I am a California-based artist, who grew up in France, then lived in New York and Colorado. I have always loved getting lost in museums and feeling the layers of history echo on long walks whether through cities or nature.
I began my classical training in the methods of the Old Masters at the REAL Academy of Art in Colorado. Under the inspiring tutelage of the Art Renewal Center (ARC) Living Master Ali Ghassan, I studied the visual language and my life has since forever been enriched.
I am currently deepening my classical studies and honing my craft at the Golden Gate Atelier under renowned master Andrew Ameral’s rigorous and equally inspiring guidance.
Equipped with training in time-honored techniques, I find a meditative delight in the process of translating moments of life onto the canvas. I find that every moment has value if you can pause and consider it. I want to honor and reveal the importance of even the mundane and unexpected. Beauty can take many forms and I have deep respect for its power to move and connect people. By translating their beauty, you can elevate the smallest moments into visual memories worth revisiting. The visual language is truly a shared human experience.
I favor drawing and oil painting in a contemporary realist style. Drawing any subject allows you to understand it on a deeper level. I want to share that delight in knowing with others.
